加拿大住家护理员工作条件及待遇

由于加拿大住家护理员签证是合法的、政府支持的签证项目，所以申请人到达加拿大后可以享受到加拿大政府给予的更多福利。

社会福利保障：所有加拿大家庭护理员到达加拿大后可申请社会保险卡及医疗保险卡。皆受加拿大劳工皆受加拿大劳工法与失业金制度的保护。

两年后全家可获移民身份：工作满两年后可以申请转为绿卡居民；在加拿大定居，享受加拿大居民的权力，可申请配偶及子女随迁加拿大；孩童18岁前的免费中学教育及领取营养费；读大学学费优惠，享受终生医疗免费及各种社会保障。

合理的工作时间安排：每周工作5天，总计44小时，超时工作要征得本人同意，并每超时一小时付1.5倍工资，在本人同意的情况下也可以将超时的一小时换算成1.5倍的休息时间，但是该休息时间必须在12周内使用，否则将失去效力。

舒适的居住环境：护理人员要在雇主家食宿，食宿费用要从工资中扣除；在保证食宿条件良好的情况下，加拿大政府规定在工资中扣除的食宿费用不能超过每周85.25加币。住房条件是一人使用的独立住房，有冷暖空调、电视及其他基本生活设施设备。

有保证的工资收入：按照加拿大安大略省最低薪金保障条例规定，每小时工资标准不能低于9.25加币，B.C省则自每小时8加币起，尽管每个省的工资标准存在不同，但基本的生活水平不会低于当地的最低薪金保障。
