COTRB - Council of Occupational Therapists Registration Boards 职业治疗师协会负责对职业治疗师（2383-11 Occupational Therapist）进行职业评估。
申请者要求雅思单项至少7分，职业英语总体成绩为A或每项均为B，学历最低要求与澳洲学士学位对等。
职业治疗师的资格评估的用途：
Occupational Therapists will need to apply for an assessment of their qualifications if they are:
1. 居住在海外，有海外资历并想移民 Living overseas and have overseas qualifications and wish to migrate
2. 居住在海外，有害外资历并想来澳洲工作假期 Living overseas and have overseas qualifications and are coming to Australia for a working holiday
3. 居住在澳洲，有海外资历但是没有在澳洲和新西兰注册 Living in Australia and have overseas qualifications and are not registered in Australia or New Zealand
4. 在澳洲学习，有澳洲资历并希望移民 Studying in Australia and have Australian qualifications and wish to migrate
5. 在新西兰注册或者有新西兰资历并且希望成为澳洲永久性居民
Registered in New Zealand or have New Zealand qualifications and wish to be a permanent resident of Australia
第一阶段评估 Stage I - Desk Top Audit
评估标准 Assessment Criteria
需要满足以下最低标准：You must satisfy the following minimum criteria to be eligible for recognition by COTRB:
(a) 资格条件 Qualifications
完成World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) 规定的高等教育课程，学历与澳洲学士学位相对等。
Have completed a World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT) currently approved (at time of graduation) tertiary level education program leading to an award in occupational therapy, that is comparable to an Australian Bachelor degree (as per the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) Country Education Profiles).

"Currently approved" is taken to mean those countries listed on the WFOT website under "Programs & Schools" which at the time of graduation:
2002年以前-国家协会最新评估后5年以内
Prior to 2002：Fall within 5 years after the year last reviewed by the National Association
2002年以后-国家协会最新评估后5年以内（3年课程）- 国家协会最新评估后5年以内（4年课程）
From 2002：
Fall within 5 years (for 3 year courses) of the year last reviewed by the National Association
Fall within 7 years (for 4 year courses) of the year last reviewed by the National Association
The WFOT approval referred to above must be in place at the time of graduation and cannot be considered retrospectively. Therefore, if the institution and program receive WFOT approval after the time of graduation, this will not be considered sufficient to meet the criteria for assessment.
上文提到WFOT批准必须在毕业的时候，不能考虑之后的。因此，如果该机构和计划毕业后获得WFOT批准的，这将不满足标准的评估。
(b) 英语 English
(i) 英语水平测试 English Language Proficiency Test
申请技术移民的职业理疗师，必须通过英语水平测试。
All occupational therapists who are applying for skilled migration or practice in Australia must prove English Language Proficiency by completing either the IELTS or the OET and achieving the results outlined below.
考试结果必须是评估之前2年之内的：
These results must have been obtained within two (2) years prior to applying for assessment.
# 雅思单项至少 7 分。
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination (Academic Module) and achieve a minimum score of seven (7) in each of the four components (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)
# 通过职业英语考试成绩为 A，或者每项均为 B
Occupational English Test (OET) and achieve an overall pass with grades A or B only in each of the four components.
(ii) 免除英语考试 Waiver of English Language Proficiency Test
满足以下要求的申请者可以免除英语考试。
The English Language Proficiency Test is waived where applicants have met the educational requirements for English language.
* Education:
1. 在美国，英国，新西兰，爱尔兰完成职业治疗课程并且注册。
Completed occupational therapy education program in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, New Zealand or Ireland, leading to registration/licensure in those countries (recognition by the Minister for Health & Children); OR
2. 在加拿大完成职业治疗课程，并且通过英语考试得以注册。
Completed occupational therapy program in Canada and gained registration/licensure in Canada through an examination that was in English; OR
3. 在南美完成职业治疗课程，并且通过英语考试得到注册。
Completed occupational therapy program in South Africa and gained registration/licensure in South Africa through education that was conducted in English; OR
4. 在申请之前的俩年，必须在澳洲完成至少4个学期，2年的全日制学习。
Completed a degree in Australia (on-shore) for at least 4 semesters, 2 years full time study, within the last two years prior to application.
完成2-3分的英语课程证明。通常是成绩单或者是培训机构的证明信。
Please note that evidence of English is required for points 2 and 3. This evidence is usually included on the transcript or in a letter from the training institution.
如果不满足上述要求，就必须的完成英语水平测试。
If you do not meet the above criteria, you will need to complete an English Language Proficiency Test (either IELTS or OET only).
尽管 COTRB取消有些英语水平要求，可能移民局会要求应税测试。
Please Note: The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) may require occupational therapists to undertake an English Language Proficiency Test even where COTRB has waived this requirement. Please contact DIAC for further information.
COTRB 评估所需材料
1.英语语言能力公证件
An official certified copy of evidence of English language ability (see English Language Requirements in the explanatory notes).
2.原语言的证书公证件
Official certified copy of your qualification papers (for example, your degree, diploma, certificate etc) in the original language.
3.显示课程，学时，考试成绩，临床实践的成绩单公证件。
Official certified transcripts of educational courses completed showing subjects, hours, and examination results, and where applicable, details of practical and clinical education, in the original language.
4.注册机构对申请者的信誉良好证明。所注册执照不超过3个月。
Official certified evidence of your good standing/verification of registration (whether currently registered or not) and current registration/licence (if applicable) from the authority(ies) you have listed at Question 28. You MUST request the evidence of good standing to be forwarded directly to COTRB by the relevant registering authority. Certificates greater than 3 months (90 days) old will not be accepted. OR if registration or licence is not required to work as an OT, official certified evidence of employment as an OT ie. letters from employers indicating the dates of your employment, your job title and the nature of your work.Application Form – Revised March 2008
5.雇主推荐信，证明申请者的专业能力。
Two official certified references from employers attesting to your professional competence. If recently graduated these references may be from practical placement supervisors, or, if self-employed, they may be from professional colleagues.
6.更名公证件。Official certified evidence of change of name, eg a marriage certificate (ONLY if the name on your documents is different from your current name).
7.完成AEI-NOOSR Examination in Occupational Therapy 的证明 。
Official certified evidence of successful completion of AEI-NOOSR Examination in Occupational Therapy (ONLY if applying for a modified assessment based on previous completion of this examination).
8.翻译件的公证件。Official certified translation in English of any documents originally issued in a language other than English.
