澳洲足部理事会 APodC （the Australasian Podiatry Council）负责脚病医生（Podiatrist 2388-11）的技能评估，海外脚病医生如打算移民澳洲或在澳洲注册须先考试；而在澳洲或新西兰，脚医执业之前须先注册。
对于国内申请者来说，脚病医生若要通过职业评估需要雅思 7.5 （A类）或 OET B 级以上，需要脚病学课程 3 年以上的学历，多年工作经验（无明确要求，但需要两封雇主推荐信）。评估的过程包括资格评估及笔试和临床考试。
APodC 海外移民职业评估申请需具备的资格：
1. 完成了全日制三年制学位的脚病学课程的学习或同等的业余时间及水平 Must have completed a three-year full-time tertiary degree course in podiatry or its part-time equivalent.
2. 在所在国家已经注册或具备注册资格 Must have current registration, or be eligible for registration, in the country where the qualification was granted.
完成了全日制三年制学位的脚病学课程的学习或具备同等的业余水平是申请人的必备条件，如果少于三年申请人须在认可的澳洲或新西兰学校学习相关的脚病学课程。
For candidates to sit any exams they must have successfully completed a three year tertiary degree course (or equivalent) in podiatry. If less than 3 years (i.e. 18 months/2 years) candidates are not eligible and must complete a podiatry course from an Australian/New Zealand school listed in the rear of this booklet.
海外脚病医生申请职业评估语言要求：职业英语考试OET（Occupational English Test）B 级及以上：每年的2月份和8月份在澳洲各首府城市举行，澳洲境外的50个城市设有考点，时间为每年的3月份和9月份；或雅思学术类7.5分及以上。
APodC 海外移民职业评估申请清单：
1. 学历，学位证书 Your qualification papers (such as degree, diploma, certificate, etc.). (A certified copy of the original.)
2. 成绩单 Transcript of podiatry courses completed showing subjects undertaken each year and examination results for each subject. (A certified copy of the original.)
3. 工作经验证明，推荐信 Evidence of your professional work experience from graduation to present, and two written references from employers or, if self-employed, two written references from professional colleagues.
4. 目前的执业注册或许可证明 Current registration or licence to practice. (A certified copy of the original.)
5. 目前的心肺复苏急救证书 Current (i.e. past 12 months) First Aid CPR Certificate(a certified copy of the original).
6. 曾用名证明 Change of name (a certified copy of the original)
7. 所有证明文件的翻译件 Certified translation in English of any documents originally issued in a language other than English.

APodC 脚医专业资格评估申请周期为：3-6 个月。
APodC 脚医考试程序包括：
♦ Stage I - 笔试：多项选择，2 个小时
笔试所涉及内容有：解剖学（anatomy），生理学（physiology），病理学（pathology）， 足病学（podology），生物力学（biomechanics），麻醉法（anaesthesia）和医学（medical sciences） 。申请人须具备以下资格：
- 完成了全日制三年制学位的脚病学课程的学习或同等的业余时间及水平
The candidate has completed a three year, tertiary degree course (or equivalent) in podiatry, at a school which is not listed as an Approved Overseas Podiatry School
- 在所在国家的执业注册证明 The candidate demonstrates documented evidence of registration to practise in the country in which he/she currently resides,
- 其他相关证明文件 All other required documentation has been provided
具备考试资格的申请人会收到一封通知信及一份考试申请表， Stage I - 笔试的申请费是 AUS$800，澳洲境内的是 AUS$880。
♦ Stage II - 实践考试和口试：时间为一天 a practical and oral examination ( Stage II ) of a full day's duration.
♦ 母语不是英语的申请人须参加英语测试 an English test is also required for applicants whose first language is not English.
♦ 目前的心肺复苏急救证书证明 evidence of current First-Aid/CPR certification.
Stage II - 实践考试和口试简介：第一阶段时间为3到4个半小时包括临床观察（Clinical Observation），临床记录审核（Clinical Record Audit），第二阶段主要考察应试者的临床实践（clinical practice）能力，下午会有一个面试（An interview）和four O.S.C.E’s 。
参加 Stage II - 实践考试和口试须需满足：
通过 Stage I - 笔试和OET考试（as applicable） 或者具有认可脚病学学校颁发的三年制学位证书
Stage II 考试申请费为 plus 10% GST (i.e. $1300 + $130 =$1430)。
考试时间：6/7月或11/12月，申请人可与自己打算注册的当地相关机构联系获取详细考点信息。
在认可海外脚病学校完成脚病课程学习的申请人可免考 Stage I 的考试即笔试；英国的申请人如符合以下情况的话可免考 Stage II examination ：
• 当前已注册 Current registration,
• 认可的三年制足病学专业学历 A three year tertiary degree in podiatry from an approved school
• 所有证明文件及初次申请并被认可 All requested documentation received with initial application and approved
Stage I & II的考试都可参加2次，第二次考试须在第一次考试结束后的12个月之内参加，如上诉，须在考试结果出来之后的6周内提出；在8周内公布上诉处理结果。
Stage I - 笔试在澳洲及海外均设有考点， Stage II - 实践考试和口试仅在澳洲设有考点，澳洲所有的注册局都承认考试的合格证书。
申请人在向脚医注册局申请注册之前也要提供当前的澳洲心肺复苏术证书（A current Australian CPR certificate），初次申请时给APodC 提供一份copy件。如没有的话，申请人在参加 Stage II 考试之前或之后要学习澳洲的脚病学课程。8周之内通知考试结果，通过之后会颁发一份证书，该证书无限期，但是有些注册局要求申请人在考完试之后5年之内注册。
