澳大利亚物理治疗师协会（Australian Physiotherapy Council，简称 APC）是澳洲移民部指定的物理治疗师职业（Physiotherapist ASCO 2385-11）技术移民评估机构。
APC 移民评估根据申请人资质分为两大类别：
1. 持有海外物理治疗师资质的申请人需要进行 APC 的考试，考试通过就等于通过了评估（评估的方式是考试）。
2. 在澳洲大学理疗相关专业的毕业生及已经在澳洲或新西兰注册的物理治疗师可以直接进行移民资格评估（评估的形式是资格考核，不需要参加 APC 考试）。
physiotherapists who:
* who hold an accredited entry-level qualification in physiotherapy completed at a university in Australia, and/or
* who hold a current certificate of full registration (practising certificate) with any State/Territory Physiotherapists' Registration Board in Australia or the New Zealand Physiotherapists' Board
are not required to undertake the professional examinations in physiotherapy and can apply for assessment for migration purposes
APC 海外物理治疗师评估结果可以用于申请澳洲技术移民（for recognition for skilled migration purposes）同时也可用于在澳洲进行注册（for professional recognition in Australia for registration purposes）。
对于国内申请者来说基本上是通过第一种方式（APC 考试评估 Application for the Assessment of Eligibility to Undertake the Professional Examinations in Physiotherapy）进行评估，需要符合一定条件后才能参加考试（3 年制专科以上学历，雅思单项不低于 7 分，多年临床工作经验），而且还需要到澳洲进行临床考试，所以无论从考试的难度还是考试的成本来说都是很高的，因此国内能申请该职业的申请者较少。对于第二种方式（在澳洲毕业或者已经在澳洲或新西兰注册）要想移民需要向 APC 提移民资格的评估申请移民目的的资格评估（Application for the Assessment of Physiotherapy Skills & Qualifications（for the purposes of migration to Australia under the General Skilled Migration Categories））。
一、APC 考试评估（1249EligibilityAssessmentForm）
APC 海外物理治疗师职业考试程序分三部分：首先需要提交考试申请（包括表格和相关材料）进行考试资格评估，考试资格评估通过后一年内进行笔试，笔试通过后一年内到澳洲进行临床考试。临床考试通过后就意味着评估通过，这时可以申请移民或到澳洲注册了。
Part One：考试资格审核 Eligibility Assessment：
海外具有初级物理治疗资格证书（primary physiotherapy qualification）的申请人首先需要进行资格审核以确定是否可以进行第二步的笔试。资格评估的周期大概 6 周。
考试资格审核主要考虑申请者的教育是否和澳洲教育对等及是否达到英语和临床要求：
1. 专业及学制：理疗相关专业专科以上学历（不少于 3 学年）
The tertiary level studies leading to his or her physiotherapy qualification are equivalent in duration to no less than three academic years (six semesters) and the depth and breadth of the curriculum studied is sufficiently similar in theory and practical aspects to the entry-level physiotherapy programs undertaken in Australia.
2. 科目设置：大学教育中包含心肺，肌肉骨骼和神经理疗，电疗等方面的理论、实践和临床科目
The tertiary level studies leading to his or her physiotherapy qualification included theoretical, practical and clinical components of cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, and theoretical and practical aspects of electrotherapy, similar in depth and breath to entry-level physiotherapy programs undertaken in Australia.
3. 实习：大学教育中通过实习获得了综合的心肺，肌肉骨骼和神经理疗，电疗等方面的临床教育经验
The tertiary level studies leading to his or her physiotherapy qualification included a comprehensive clinical education experience through supervised physiotherapy clinical practice in cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy. This may be through a compulsory internship period.
4. 注册/执照：学习完成后达到该国家物理治疗师的注册或执照要求
The tertiary level studies leading to his or her physiotherapy qualification qualify the candidate to be registered/licensed as a physiotherapist in the country in which the program was completed (if applicable); and
5. 英语水平：雅思 A 类单项不低于7分或 OET 达到A级或B级（Occupational English Test）
雅思和职业英语考试的成绩有效期：2 年。如果您是在2008年6月30日或以前参加的雅思考试的话，整体总分须达到7分，学术类各部分不少于6分。如果您是在2008年7月1日或之后参加的雅思考试的话，学术类各项须至少7分。
6. 证明自己能够到达澳洲注册要求
The candidate is able to demonstrate that he or she is able to fulfil the registration board requirements regarding maintenance of competence to practise as a physiotherapist.
通过APC的评估之后，申请人就具备了在澳洲申请物理治疗师注册的资格；同时会颁发一合格技术评估结果。
Upon successful completion of the Australian Physiotherapy Council assessment process, a candidate will be eligible to apply to register to practise as a physiotherapist in Australia. If a candidate has applied for a skills assessment, a positive skills assessment will also be issued.
Part Two：笔试（Written Examination）
世界范围内举办，每年三月份和九月份的第一周，考试结束之后的45天之内公布结果，申请人必须通过该考试才具备参加临床考试（Clinical Examination）的资格，Written Examination最多可参加2次，考试通过之后APC会发给合格者一份临时证书——APCInterim Certificate（有效期一年）。
Part Three：临床考试（Clinical Examination）
该考试仅在澳洲举办，也就是意味着评估人要能够申请到进入澳洲的签证才能参加该考试。请注意申请人一定要在 APC 临时证书的一年有效期内参加该考试。
APC 职业评估考试资格审核需要的材料清单：
1. 曾用名证明 Evidence of change of name (if applicable)
2. 出生公证 Evidence of your date of birth
3. 护照照片 Your passport photograph
4. 澳洲居民身份证明 Evidence of your Australian residency status
5. 简历 Résumé
6. 物理治疗毕业证书 Graduation certificate for your initial physiotherapy qualification
7. 成绩单 Official results transcript from your initial physiotherapy qualification
8. 课程描述 Detailed course curriculum
9. 临床经验或临床实习证书 Clinical experience or clinical internship documentation (if applicable)
10. 其它毕业证书 Graduation certificate for your additional qualification (if applicable)
11. 其他资格证书的成绩单 Official results transcript from your additional qualification (if applicable)
12. 最初的注册证明 Initial registration certificate (if applicable)
13. 目前的注册证明 Current registration certificate (if applicable)
14. 以前或目前的注册证明（澳洲的） Evidence of previous and/or current registration in Australia (if applicable)
15. 2 封推荐信 Two professional references
16. 英语水平证明 Evidence of your English language ability
17. 申请费 Payment of application fee
18. 资金转帐/直接存款证明 Evidence of funds transfer/direct deposit (if applicable)
二、APC 移民目的的资格评估（1249aSkillsAssessmentForm）
对于持有澳洲认可物理治疗师资质的移民申请者，要想移民也需要通过 APC 的移民评估【Application for the Assessment of Physiotherapy Skills & Qualifications（for the purposes of migration to Australia under the General Skilled Migration Categories）】，但是不需要参加上面介绍的考试。
海外物理治疗师要想获得澳洲认可资质有两条途径：
1. 通过上面的 APC 评估（successfully complete the Australian Physiotherapy Council assessment process）
2. 在澳洲大学完成 APC 认可的物理治疗学位课程（Physiotherapy degree program）
请注意，APC 不认可物理治疗研究生学历（不能用于注册或移民资质）。
