ADC（Australian Dental Council）负责对牙医 (Dentist，ASCO 2381-11) 和 牙科专家 (Dental Specialist，ASCO 2381-13)进行移民资格评估，同时负责对牙科专家资格进行评估（Application for Assessment of Professional Qualifications in Dentistry）。
ADC 牙医移民海外资格评估方式共有 3 种：
1. 牙科学校学习 - 在澳大利亚牙医学院（有可能会授予您以前学业一些学分）；
by enrolling at an Australian dental school where they may be granted some credit for previous study
2. 持有被认可的资格(在英国或爱尔兰获得牙医学士学位的话有可能直接通过审核)；
by immediate recognition of their existing qualifications（Dentists with a Bachelor degree obtained from the United Kingdom or Ireland may have qualification which may be acceptable to Dental Registration Boards for immediate registration）
如果不具备立即认可资质的话，您有两种选择：一种是（在认可的澳大利亚大学)牙医学位课程学习（Australian dental degree course），另一种就是通过ADC考试（Australian Dental Council examinations）
3. 通过ADC考试；Australian Dental Council (ADC) examinations.
ADC 海外牙医评估通过以下考试进行：
ADC（Australian Dental Council (ADC) examinations）考试必备资格
1. 有资格参加ADC考试的海外牙医须具有至少是四年制的大学（ADC承认的大学）牙医学位且在所在国家是注册牙医。
Overseas trained dentists are eligible to undertake the ADC examination procedure if they have completed and passed a dental degree which included at least four years' full-time academic study at a university recognised by the ADC and are registered as a dentist in their country of training or practice
2. 身体免疫功能检查 Immune Status
ADC应试者考试之前，澳大利亚牙医机构可能会要求应试者做一个常规评估检查（病史和身体免疫），这已经在某些州开始实施。
Prior to giving an ADC candidate access to clinical facilities for examination purposes, dental hospitals may require a routine assessment of disease history and immune status. This is already in place in some States.
ADC 牙医职业评估考试包括三部分：
1. 职业英语考试 OET（Occupational English Test）：听说读写每部分成绩须是 "A" 或 "B"，a pass at "A" or "B" level for each of the four sub-tests
每年两次（三，四月份或九，十月份），考试地点（在海外和澳大利亚均可），twice each year, both within Australia and overseas, can be taken, overseas, at Australian Embassies, High Commissions or Consulates; in Australia in any of the State capital cities and some larger provincial centres.
参考次数无限制，有效期是两年，不接受其他考试（例如 IELTS）；
2. 预备考试（Preliminary Examination - Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) and Short Answer Questions (SAQ)）： 考试时间为两天，一年两次（三月份和九月份），有效期为三年。 twice each year in March and September. A pass is valid for a period of three years.
3. 最终即临床考试（Final (clinical) Examination）：您只能在澳大利亚参加该考试，包括三部分：牙外科学和Paedodontics，牙周病学和假牙修复学，口腔外科学，口头诊断和放射学（Operative Dentistry and Paedodontics; Periodontics and Removable Prosthodontics； Oral Surgery, Oral Diagnosis and Radiology），一年至少两次分别为每年的7月和11月；时间是三到六天；通过预备考试（Preliminary Examination）之后的三年内务必参加该考试。
The final examination must be undertaken within three years of passing the Preliminary Examination.
ADC 牙医考试备注
1. 各考试重考的话都要另收费，退出考试会收一定的注销费；考试通过之后会发给您证书，然后您就可以在澳大利亚牙科协会注册；
Withdrawal from any examination may result in a cancellation fee being charged. Upon receiving the ADC Certificate, candidates may apply for registration to one of the Australian Dental Boards.
2. 考试没有通过的话可以上诉说明有待提高的地方；an opportunity to discuss areas which require improvement
补考（Supplementary Examinations）may be granted where a candidate has a marginal fail grade
3. 三项考试均通过之后ADC会发一份证书，此证书赋予考试合格者有在澳大利亚所有的州或地区的注册权。另外，如果在澳大利亚某一个州或地区注册（有了牙医行医资格）那么 在各个州或地区就会有同样的牙医行医资格。
The ADC Certificate in Dentistry is an acceptable qualification for registration in all States and Territories in Australia，they can carry out an equivalent occupation in any other State or Territory.
ADC 牙医（移民）职业评估材料清单：
1. 毕业和学位证书 Degree, diploma or certificate in original language. Applicants with Chinese qualifications will also need to arrange verification of their dentistry degree through VETASSESS
2. 成绩单 Official transcripts of educational courses completed showing subjects, hours, examination results and details of practicaland clinical education, in original language.
3. 实习证明 Evidence of internship where applicable.
4. 第一个注册或许可证 First registration/licensure.
5. 目前的注册证（如果上次注册时间超过一年的话，请最好附上推荐信） Current registration. A letter of good standing is also required if your last registration was issued more than 12 months ago.
6. 工作经验证明 Evidence of employment experience as a dentist from graduation to date of application.
7. 两份推荐信 Two recent written references relating to professional competence..
8. 曾用名证明 Evidence of change of name where applicable.
9. 护照 The relevant pages of your passport.
递交的材料不退 Please note any original documents submitted to the ADC will not be returned to you.
ADC 牙医职业资格评估费用
ADC 牙医评估的费用是 $530 澳币，付款方式：银行支票（Bank cheque (enclosed)），Australian Money Order, 信用卡（Visa or Mastercard）。
ADC牙医职业资格评估周期：4-6 周。
牙医职业的移民申请者成功移民后（通过牙科医生移民评估）并不代表具有澳大利亚的牙科医生注册资格。
Successfully migrating to Australia as a Dentist or Dental Specialist does not automatically confer a right to registration with the dental registration boards in Australia or to employment in Australia as a Dentist or Dental Specialist. Requirements additional to those for migration may need to be met, e.g. evidence of registration and/or good standing in your country of training or professional practice.
