ACS 职业评估（Skills Assessment）概述 - FLYabroad
The Australian Computer Society (ACS) 是澳大利亚移民部指定的 ICT 职业的移民职业评估机构，对计算机和通信相关职业进行职业评估，只有通过 ACS 评估的职业才能进行下一步的签证申请或州担保申请。2011.07.01 新政后 ACS 增加了ACS 同时提供专业年服务，这个 FLYabroad 以后会慢慢介绍。
ACS 澳大利亚 ICT 移民职业评估的职业范围 - FLYabroad
ACS 负责评估的技术移民职业包括：

ACS 评估周期 - FLYabroad
ACS 评估周期 12 周 （三个月左右），评估申请接收 7-10 个工作日会通过 email Issue a receipt ：包含评估号（Access Code）可以拥有状态查询。申请资料不退。可以在线评估。通过附件上传相关材料。如果需要补充材料补料期限（requested to provide further documentation）是境内 35 天，境外 49 天。
2011.08.15 后 ACS 评估结果将会通过 email 发送 PDF 文件的方式，方便申请人递交签证申请及州担保申请（Result letters are sent as a secure PDF file via email.）。
ACS 职业评估有效期 - FLYabroad
普通 ACS 评估结果的有效期是一年（Result letters are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.）。
毕业生免工作经验类别的 ACS 评估结果有效期二年（Result letters for recent skilled employment exemption applications are valid for 2 years from the date of issue.）。
ACS 职业评估类型（skills application types） - FLYabroad
1. 澳大利亚大学应届毕业生(澳洲毕业生，英语授课，学习时间92周以上，毕业半年之内) Recent Graduates of an Australian University in Australia
2. 澳大利亚大学应届毕业生考虑工作经验 Recent Graduates of an Australian University in Australia wanting ICT experience considered

ACS 职业评估类别（distinct groupings）及评估条件 - FLYabroad
Group A 申请条件：
1. 主修ICT专业本科及以上学历（需要有学位），专业与提名职业相关（A major in ICT highly relevant to the nominated occupation）的话近7年内有2年提名职业工作经验即可；
2. 主修ICT专业本科及以上学历（需要有学位），如果提名职业与专业不是高度相关，有4年及以上相关工作经验。
Group B 申请条件：
1. 主修ICT专业的专科学历，提名职业与专业高度相关，并且近10年内有5年全职的与提名职业相关工作经验；
2. 主修ICT专业的专科学历，提名职业与专业相关度不是太高，但累计有6年全职的与提名职业相关工作经验；
3. 辅修ICT专业的学士及以上学位，专业与提名职业高度相关，并且近10年内有5年全职的与提名职业相关工作经验；
4. 辅修ICT专业的学士及以上学位，专业与提名职业相关度不高，但累计有6年全职的与提名职业相关工作经验；
5. 非 ICT 专业的学士及更高学位，至少6年的提名职业相关的 professional ICT 工作经验（RPL 1）；
6. 没有正规的高等教育（No tertiary qualification），至少8年的提名职业相关的 professional ICT 工作经验，其中6年要求 closely related to the nominated occupation（RPL 2），Application through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)。
被 Group B 类型认可的国际认证包括（may be sufficient to meet the qualifications criteria）：
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Certified Lotus Professional or Certified Novell Engineer (from 1997)
• Certified Directory Engineer from Novell, Master Certified Novell Engineer, Certified Novell Instructor, CITEC Certified Engineer or Oracle Certified Master (from 2004)
• Microsoft Certified Professional Developer or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (from 2007)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Information Security Manager from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (from 14 June 2007)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional from International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (from May 2008)
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (from August 2009)
Group C 申请条件：
刚毕业不到半年的澳洲 ICT 相关专业的本科及更高学历的毕业生可以豁免工作经验（如果需要工作经验也可以考虑在内）。
Recent skilled employment exemption under the DIAC provisions for applicants who meet the Australian study requirement.

ACS 职业评估需要的材料 - FLYabroad

7. 申请费（自付，可以使用信用卡） Payment of the application fee

ACS 提供的其他职业评估相关服务 - FLYabroad
Review：如果对评估结果不满意，评估结果 60 天内可以申请 Review ，Review 由更高级的评估官员进行，如果您需要改变提名的 ANZSCO 职业，或者有初次递交时没有提交的材料，或者需要对整个申请进行 Review 。申请 Review 可以提供新材料。
Appeal：如果不同意评估结论，评估结果发出60天内可以申请 Appeal ，Appeal 成功的话相关费用会退回。 Appeal 不允许提交新材料，只是由更高级的评估官员对于原先提交的资料进行重新审核，看看是否以前作出了错误的评估结果。
REASSESSMENT：原先按照老标准申请过或者原先申请不合适，现在适合新的标准了，这时原先递交过的材料可以不用再次递交。
RE-VALIDATION：评估结果在递交签证申请前过期的话可以申请 RE-VALIDATION 。
